Details & Services
Hormone-related issues can include premenstrual mood changes, breast tenderness, irregular or heavy periods, acne, low sex drive, vaginal dryness, hot flashes, insomnia and more. Oftentimes, these symptoms can be relieved, or at least improved, by traditional treatments such as birth control pills, antidepressants or commercially available hormone replacement. However, some women don’t get relief, or have side effects from more traditional therapies.
Dr. Kay Chandler, along with Jennifer Wilson, APRN, Amber Hunt, APRN, and Dr. Kenneth Singleton along with Amanda Manley, APRN, and Dr. Jennifer Anderson, along with Alexis Rasnic, PA-C have pursued extensive additional training in hormonal therapies, and will work with you to find the best solution to restore hormone balance and relieve those often life-altering symptoms. Treatment options include:
Topical, oral or sublingual hormones compounded to treat specific hormone deficiencies or imbalances
Pharmaceutical-grade supplements to improve symptoms and also help correct imbalances in the body
Hormone pellet therapy
Hormone pellet therapy is offered by Dr. Chandler, Jennifer Wilson, APRN, Amber Hunt, APRN, Amanda Manley, APRN, Dr. Anderson, and Alexis Rasnic, PA-C. Testosterone pellet therapy has been found to be particularly helpful for those women struggling with low energy and lack of libido/sex drive. Unlike many who offer hormone pellet therapy, the Cornerstone team uses their experience and expertise to determine optimal dosing for you based on your symptoms and hormone levels, rather than contracting with out-of-state companies to determine dosing.
